Location

Eden Terrace is a vibrant, eclectic neighbourhood that sits in the centre of the city fringe and borders Ponsonby, Kingsland, Mt Eden and Newmarket – with the CBD only a few minutes to the north.

This incredible location at the apex of Auckland’s most exclusive suburbs has seen it undergo a wave of new residential development in the past decade of which Proxima is the latest chapter.

Epitomised by the bold aesthetic of Site 3 on St Benedict’s Street, the area has a unique, urban character born from its blend of residential and commercial architecture. Many design stores including Simon James and BLOC have chosen to call the area home.

With trendy businesses comes great food, and Eden Terrace is no exception. The area is renowned for its fascinating mix of eateries – everything from the delicious simplicity of  Carmel Israeli Street Food through to exquisite fine dining with Sid at the French Café.

Proxima is only a short stroll from Queen Street, the cultural and entertainment hub of Auckland with the Aotea Centre, Q Theatre, Civic Theatre, Auckland Library, Auckland Art Gallery and IMAX Cinemas. It is equally close to some of Auckland’s best green spots – including Basque Park, Myers Park, Albert Park and the Domain.

With the City Rail Link finishing shortly – featuring Karangahape Station and Mt Eden Station on both sides of Proxima – and bus stops on Symonds Street, there are multiple public transport options to connect you with wider Auckland.
